Mockingjay Pt. 2 (teaser trailer review)

Hello everybody! I'm sorry that i haven't been blogging in quite a while, I've been concentrating on my exams for college. However, I've really missed blogging and i'm going to start doing it more often :)

Anyway today I thought that I'd give to you my opinion on the new teaser trailer for the last film of The Hunger Games Trilogy.
If anybody knows me then they will know I'm a huge fan of The Hunger Games and fell in love with the books. However, even though the books are good there's something about the movies that I just love, it may be the fact that i can see everything that I read come to life which I find amazing! :)

I personally believe that the teaser trailer was an amazing one as it was so gripping and I couldn't keep my eyes off it! It didn't give anything away that will happen and it kept me wanting more which made me want to watch the film there and then! I will not give any spoilers but even just by watching this teaser trailer you can immediately realize that part 2 will be an emotional but action packed film. I don't know how i'm going to be able to wait until 20 November!!!

This was just a quick little review and if you haven't checked out the teaser trailer you really should and even if your not a fan of The Hunger Games you should watch the trailer as it may change your mind in wanting to watch it.

In the comments below, tell me what your looking forward to most about Mockingjay Part 2 and whether you are team Peeta or team Gale... just saying i'm team Peeta :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my post today so until my next time, byeee guys!! <3

What Would You Be? thenamesbeckyy and Charlotte Ansell

Hellooooo everyone! So today I have a bloggers day with Charlotte and Callum where we would help each other with our blogs, however, it didn't go quite like we planned as we just ended up singing karaoke songs to our fav singers/bands and all time classics. I am now sat by the lovely Charlotte and we thought we'd do a sort od collab where we each answer a series of questions. This is such a fun activity so feel free to do this with one of your friends as it's a fun thing to do!
Soo let's get started on the questions then shall we...

If you were a celebrity, who would you be?

Me: "I'm not too sure on this question as if I had a favourite celebrity I would obviously choose them but I don't really I like different ones but don't have a favourite but if I had to choose one it would be Jennifer Aniston as I find her so funny and an amazing actor especially on the comedy show 'Friends' when it was on."

Charlotte: "Now as a disclaimer I am not saying I look anything like them so no hate please but the Kardashians! I am obsessed with them! I think if I would be any one of them I would be Khloe, we both have green eyes, blonde/ombre hair and are both a little crazy and fun but I am a clean freak just like her but I just love all of them so if I could be any celebrity I would be a Kardashian definitely!!(wishful thinking!haha)"

If you were an animal, what would you be?

Me: "If I was an animal I would have to be a sloth as they seem to have it easy, always sleeping, always eating and hanging in trees, I envy them aha! (one of the reasons why their my favourite animals)"

Charlotte: "I think I would be a cheetah or a leopard..to be truthful I don't really know the difference! Will have to google it after, hehe. But I love leopard print, always have and always will! Not in the trashy way don't worry! I can be quite sneaky, like in the house I'm the one that can run up the stairs and no one notice, I know that doesn't make me a cheetah but you know..I have nifty qualities! haha, I just love that animal, so yeah I think if I were an animal I would be a cheetah or a leopard. Either that or a rabbit because I could eat salad and lettuce all day everyday for some reason, I love it!"

If you were a social network, what would you be?

Me: "If I had to be a social network I would definitely be Instagram. I wouldn't be Twitter as you have a limit on what to say but with Instagram you can use filters to make you look nicer which I need in the real world aha! "

Charlotte: "definitely Instagram! I couldn't be Twitter as you have a limit on how much you can say and anyone who knows me knows that I love to ramble so not twitter but I am absolutely a photo hoarder! Honestly I am awful like that and I love Instagram so yeah I would have to be Insta!"

If you were a holiday/ festivity, what would you be?

Me: "if I was able to be a holiday I would definitely be Christmas! I know some don't celebrate Christmas but around the time of it everyone seems to be in happier moods and nicer to others in some way and it's all about family coming together so I find it such a lovely holiday!"

Charlotte: "Easter!!! Most definitely it would be Easter! I am more of a chocolate person than a sweet or crisps type of person so Easter is my kind of holiday, who wouldn't want to have a months supply of chocolate for free??!! I love Easter!"

If you were a colour, what would you be?

Me: "If I were a colour I would be aqua/light blue as it's my favourite colour but above that I think it's such a calm and summery colour and I just like it" :)

Charlotte: "Errrmm.. I would say royal blue, I don't know why but I love that colour, it suits me and it goes well with my name I think so I don't know I feel like royal blue is my colour so yeah."

If you were a snack food, what would you be?

Me: "If I were a snack food I would be Pringles as I seem to find myself always picking and wanting more so knowing I'll be a likable snack I would be happy to be Pringles!"

Charlotte: "Even though chocolate is my favourite snack, personally I would probably be a bag of skittles, crazy, colourful and all over the damn place!! haha, it was the first thing that sprung to mind but I don't know that's quite a tricky one."

If you were a takeaway, what would you be?

Me: "If I were a takeaway I would definitely be something that delivered Pizza like Dominos if you know what that is! As I think pizza is the one thing you can order and you'll know it'll be a good night in or meal as it's tasty and a good snack food."

Charlotte: "My all time favourite takeaway is Chinese easily! But I do feel like I would be more like Italian, I don't actually know if that's a takeaway but I love Italian food, I have Italian somewhere in my family and I think if I had to pick any food..genre I would fit into Italian"

If you were a shoe, what would you be?

Me: "If I were a shoe I would be slippers as they are so comfy and your always happy to put them on the relax whatever the occasions whether it's from a long hard days work of stress or just a pamper day to treat yourself."

Charlotte: "Nude court shoes (Christian Loubutin) I must admit I am a glamour girl to the 1000th degree and am always in a pair of heels or wedges so if I were..a type of shoe I guess I'd be a pair of simple heels and I love nude shoes they go with everything!"

That's all for this post guys! We thought that this was just a fun little post that you may enjoy reading as we had loads of fun coming up with the questions but more importantly, the answers! Make sure to go visit Charlotte's blog too as she's an amzing blogger! But yeah hope you liked this post as it's not something I would normally do but tell me in the comments if you think I should do more of these but with other bloggers :) Til my next blog post guys.. byeeeeee!

PROM!!!

So today guys my post if you haven't guessed already will be on Prom and as a lot of peoples Prom's are around this time of the month or have already gone I thought I'd share some pictures of my prom and I would love to hear about how amazing your Prom was so be sure to leave a comment! Prom is a night to remember as all the girlies look like beautiful princesses in their dresses and makeup and the boys look very dapper and mature in the suites and ties and you can see how much effort everyone has gone to which I think is amazing! As I said before I shall share some of my pics of Prom and I hope you like it! :)
These are a few of my friends who were at Prom
including my fellow blogger best friend Charlotte Ansell so go check her out!
All my friends looked amazing and so did all the rest of the people in my year!

Arriving In Style

As you can see us gals knew how to travel in style! We rode in a Lincon Limo which was amazing and such a memorable experience (jealous of those celebs able to drive in one everyday aha!) so when we arrived at the hotel where our Prom took place we walked out with sass and style for a change aha.

Everyone Who Came To Prom

As you can see by this picture... ALOT of us went to Prom and surprisingly there was plenty of room still in the hotel aha and everyone looked beautiful and handsome!
We were actually 'posing' for a camera as we were going to be in the newspaper which is very exciting! :D
This picture is of me and one of my best guy friends Callum Ellis and another
fellow blogger so be sure to check him out too!

Bestfriend With Me At Prom!

We had Champagne as it was a special occasion :)
Known Charlotte Ansell for 12 strong years and I'm sure we'll be besties for a long long time still! love ya! <3

I hope you enjoyed this little post guys! Sorry there's not many pics as their either blurred, on someone else's camera or in the dark because of the disco type thing we had! So I do apologize! But yeah I hope you enjoyed reading my blog and I'd love to hear about how great your prom was so leave a comment! It makes my day reading them so thank you and if your Prom is coming up I wish you good luck and bet you'll look amazing!

The Faults In Our Stars

Helloooo again guys! So today I took a trip to the cinema's to watch The Faults In Our Stars and omg guys I loved it so for this post I thought I would talk about it and tell you my thoughts on it, so if you interested in that then scroll...

If you want to know what the films about then ill leave a link for trailer the here so go check it out!
So as a lot of you may know The Faults In Our Stars is a must see film at the minute as it was released recently and in the UK it was literally just released today which is why I went today! In my April Favourites post I mentioned about the book version of The Faults In Our Stars but only touched on it slightly but basically I read the book and I found it such an a amazing read and I was never bored of reading it and definitely tugs at the heartstrings so if you haven't read it yet I suggest you do but I would read the book before you see the film personally!

The film however was not a disappointment! It was a lot like the book which I was hoping for and just like the book it left me in tears! I was an emotional wreck coming out of the cinema and I made the tragic mistake of not wearing waterproof mascara so I must have looked awful! The atmosphere in the cinema was so cute I thought as literally everyone in the room was crying and happy and I thought it was an amazing feeling as everyone got along and socialised (which is new for me as I'm normally really shy!)

If you are looking for a good read and haven't read this yet I suggest you do because it's brilliant and so is the author John Green and if your looking for a good day out whether it's with your friends or family go out to the cinema and watch The Faults In Our Stars, it's worth it trust me! (although I do recommend you wear waterproof make up aha, don't make the mistake I did!)

That about raps up my post today guys, hope you take my advise and go see this film if you haven't as I said it's an amazing film and will make a great day out!

Can't wait to get started on my new post and hope you have a great week! Byeeeees!

Day Out At The Beach

Hey again guys! So the other day I went on a family outing to Western-Super-Mare and I thought I'd share some pictures I took whilst I was there for you to look at. It was such a lovely place and I had such a lovely time and if you have the chance I suggest you go there!

So here are some pictures of Western-Super-Mare!

So this is a photo I took of a Ferris Wheel which I thought was soo cute!
You did however have to pay to have a ride but it wasn't expensive at all, it was a cheap and reasonable price!
This is a picture of a sand sculpture. They made Paddington Bear out of sand (as you can see from it's initials 'PB' on the side) and as I loved Paddington Bear growing up, I obviously loved this sculpture. This was an entry in a sand castle contest and I believe it came 1st place, which is what I think it deserved don't you?!
As it was such a hot and beautiful day, I decided to buy an ice-cream from a nearby ice-cream shop. As you can see, I looks yummy (and tasted it too!) and the flavour of it was Oreo! Anyone who knows me, knows a absolutely love Oreo so this was a successful purchase if you ask me!
I really want to eat it as it looks so good but sadly I already I ate it! :'(
Picture of the beach and as you can see it was such a beautiful day!
My inner child came out at this point and as you can see I wrote my name in the sand. I used to do this when I was little and couldn't resist it aha! I feel that when you go to the beach you must write your name or something in the sand!
This is a fountain that I thought was so pretty and what you did was throw coins in and make a wish which is just adorable! I hope my wish comes true aha fingers crossed!
View from where I was standing on the beach. There was a little town near the beach which had loads of shops so obviously, being a girl, I spent and brought a lot of things!

I had such a lovely time at Western-Super-Mare and I will definitely go again! I went with my family but you don't have to you can go there on a date or just an outing on your own for a jog or just a quick shop.
Sorry that the pictures aren't the best as my camera has broke so I had to take them off my iphone but never the less I hope you enjoyed looking at them and reading my blog post!

Can't wait to get started on my next post and I will talk to you very soon! Byeeeeeeee!

April Favourites

Hey again guys! So I thought seeing it's nearing the end of another month that I would do my monthly favourites for April. These will include anything whether it's beauty based, fashion based or just an everyday type of thing. This post is purely to show you what I've been loving this month and see if I can give you some inspiration on what you could buy for next May. Here are some of my favourites!

Floral Head Band

One thing I've been loving recently is my flower crown I purchased at a festival. I think these are appropriate now as spring is finally upon us and I want to feel summery and I think it suits the season. Even though I got my flower crown from a festival you can buy them from any clothing or accessory shop. I did buy another one from new look the other day and I noticed they all were a reasonable price.

Does It All Mascara

I absolutely love this mascara and it's from Collection! As it says on the packaging it really does 5 things in 1! This mascara doesn't only volumise and lengthen your lashes to curl them making them look as if there natural, with it's enhanced multi-bristle brush  it conditions your lashes making them healthy and make them last longer not just with this mascara but for other future mascara's too! I absolutely love this mascara and I've been using it nearly everyday this past month so I highly recommend this mascara for you to use for your daily and special occasion makeup!

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire DVD

I know Catching fore came out in March but I brought it and didn't really watch it until the start of April. However I am a huge fan of The Hunger Games as I have read all 3 books and own both film that have been released (still excited of Mocking jay!) I personally feel that The Hunger Games is such a good film/book as it's so exciting and intense, it keeps you engaged throughout the film/books and Suzanne Collins is a great writer so if you looking fo a good read or something to watch I suggest you give The Hunger Games a try!

Snow Fairy

OMG guys! Firstly, I would like to point out just how amazing this smells. It smells like bubble-gum and everything amazing all mixed into one product. This product is called 'Snow Fairy' if you hadn't guessed from the heading and it's a shower gel from a shop called Lush which sells shower and bath products, whether it's shower gel or a bath ballistic. If you've never been to Lush I recommend you make them a little visit. Unfortunately as you can see, this is a limited edition item and I had this for Christmas (and you can see I've used a lot of it!) but there are so many similar products to this one that smell and work in the same way but this is the one I've been loving this month.

Champneys Nail Polish

This nail varnish is a Champneys one and it's little blue/lilac colour. I do apologise as I can't tell you the exact name for this one as I got it in a pack of different Champneys nail polish's but I thought this one was the nicest one and is most appropriate for this season. I feel that the colour is a warm and calming colour that puts you in the mood for spring/summer. This colour can go with nearly every type of coloured clothing and last for quite a while so if you can get your hand on this one or any Champneys polish I'd recommend you use it!

The Faults In Our Stars

This book is called if you haven't already guessed, The Faults In Our Stars written by John Green. I'm quite late on reading this book but I've had to finish my other books before I read this one but this book really pulls at the heartstrings and is such a great read. They are making a film about this and it's coming out in June for those who live in the UK so I shall be seeing it because if it's anything like the book it will be amazing! John Green is such a good writer and the books I've read of his are all brilliant and this one was also brill so if you looking to read another book other than The Hunger Games I also recommend you read this one! (but make sure you've read it before you see the film aha.) I'm pretty sure you can purchase this book in any book store or online.

Thankyou guys for reading this post, I hope you enjoyed it! If you have any other questions you want to know about the products then don't hesitate to comment down below and i'll do my best to answer them. Hope I've given you some idea's on what to purchase for the upcoming months and I'll talk to you soon! Bye!

Charlotte's Birthday Meal

Hi guys! So yesterday I went to a restaurant for a meal for my best friend Charlotte's birthday. There was about 10 girls and all of us were really good friends so it was a great night!
